Theft from Motor Vehicle

On the 13th September 2017 tools were stolen from an unlocked vehicle on Freehold Street, Lower Heyford.

Please ensure that vehicles are locked and secured and that where possible tools are not kept in vehicles.

Follow these simple steps to help protect your tools
  • Register your tools - Register your tools on a secure property recording website such as where you can record serial numbers and descriptive details.
  • Property Marking - Security mark your tools to deter criminals, either engrave your tools with your home or business postcode or mark it obviously with permanent marker or paint and lacquer spray again with a postcode.
  • Leave your vehicle Empty
  • Alarm your Vehicle
