7/1 Sunday 2 a.m. Rushington Avenue. Burglary. Entry via insecure door. The owner was awoken by a noise and the security light coming on. They went to investigate and looked out. They saw 2 men on the driveway. They shouted and the men made off. Descriptions: 1. Black, 6’, early 20s, dark hoody and dark trousers. 2. White, shorter than man 1, dark hoody and trousers. He ran out of the house to chase them, but they had gone. When he came back inside he found a search had taken place. Paul Smith bank card holder containing several bank cards, house and car keys stolen.
5/1 - 6/1 Friday 10 p.m. / Saturday 1.25 p.m. Courtlands. Break in to garage block. A car may have been used to force open a door. No entry gained.
6/1 Saturday 9 a.m. / 3 p.m. Wessex Way. Rear house window smashed.
1/6 - 6/1 Northumbria Road. Series of criminal damages to owner’s car. Sliding roof window had been smashed, sun hatch had been broken off, windscreen wiper bent. Last week a side window had been pushed down, damaging the mechanism.
