TV Alert app

There is now also a free smart-phone Alert app which provides the latest local policing news straight to your phone. To download the app, visit the Apple store or Google Play and search ‘Thames Valley Police Alert’.

Secure Sheds and Bikes using PIR Alarms

There have been many reported incidents of bike theft from the sheds. Some incidents of car break-ins also reported. Below are list of things you can do to secure sheds and motor vehicles.
  • Lock the sheds and Garden gates
  • Lock the Cars/Vans
  • Install PIR alarm in a Van to alert a break-in
To secure Sheds and Motor Vehicles, consider PIR Alarm to alert when a break-in happens. The PIR alarm detects any movement and makes a loud noise to alert. The kit can be purchased online or I can source them from our neighbouring NHW co-ordinator for you at a nominal cost. Please note new cars come with PIR alarms.
