Appeal for witnesses following a dangerous dog incident in Abingdon

At around 7.30pm on Monday 3 August the victim, a 58-year-old man, was walking along the Ock Valley River walk when a small black dog bit him on his leg.

The dog was not on a lead. The victim confronted the dog owner who denied what had just happened.

The victim sustained a bite injury to his leg.

The dog is described as a young, small black terrier with a red collar.

The dog owner is described as a white woman, around 5ft 5ins tall, in her early to mid-forties with short dark hair and slim. She was wearing floral patterned trousers, pink top and carrying a dog lead.
