Unmapped NHW Schemes

Alert message sent 06/09/2020 14:20:00

Information sent on behalf of Neighbourhood Watch

You are receiving this message because you have created a NHW scheme but not actually mapped it yet as far as I can see. Mapping the scheme is useful to help us identify areas in Bracknell which do not have NHW coverage so we may target it to expand/create additional schemes.

Please go onto & log in then:
1. Select Scheme Admin at the top of the page to show your scheme
2. Then at the bottom of the page select “Edit your scheme name, map & description”
3. Then using the polygon icon in the Scheme coverage area draw the outline of your map
4. Save changes when you are happy with them.

Alternatively you may use the sister site & log in then:
1. Select Neighbourhood Watch on the LHS & you should see your unmapped Scheme
2. Select Edit Scheme
3. Then using the polygon icon in the Scheme coverage area draw the outline of your map
4. Save changes when you are happy with them.

Both these systems are accessing the same data so you only need to update one of them.
It doesn’t have to be an artistic masterpiece as long as it encloses the area covered. Also you can tweak it later if required.
If you are on the Bracknell Forest area boundary be careful with the section abutting the borough boundary as otherwise it may appear in the wrong district (i.e. not appear in the correct area searches).
Of course if you get stuck just contact me & we can set up a Zoom or Skype meeting to help you.

Also if you have not already done so please encourage your neighbours to join your scheme.

Finally please remember I have signs & stickers if you need them. Send a reply by clicking the appropriate button at the foot of this email.

Thank you
