Appeal for witnesses following attempted robbery in Bletchley

At around 10.30am on Wednesday 23 September, a man was walking his dog on the pathway that runs alongside the canal from the Lakes Estate to Fenny Stratford when he was approached by two men.

One of the men punched him in the face, causing him to fall to the floor. While he was on the floor, the two men repeatedly kicked him and told him to hand over his money and phone.

The two men then ran off without taking anything towards the allotments on Stoke Road.

The victim sustained bruising and swelling to his face. He did not require hospital treatment.

The first offender is described as a slim black man, aged roughly 20-years-old and approximately 5ft 9ins tall. He was wearing a navy blue hoody over a red top and dark coloured trousers.  

The second offender is also described as a slim black man, aged roughly 20-years-old and approximately 5ft 9ins tall. He was wearing a black lightweight rain jacket and a black baseball cap.
