Information sent on behalf of Thames Valley Police

At around 3.20pm on Monday (12/10) the victim a 29-year-old woman, was at home with two of her children when an unknown man appeared at the door of a property on Temple, Stantonbury. When the victim asked what the man was doing he left the front door stating he was at the wrong address.

The offender is described as a white man, around 5ft 5ins tall, average build, short light brown messy hair and was wearing a face mask. He was wearing blue tracksuit bottoms with white stripes down the leg and a white jumper.

Investigating officer Detective Inspector Jason Simpson based at Milton Keynes police station, said: “This was a frightening experience for the victim and their family who were fortunately uninjured.

“I would like to speak to anyone who may have details about this incident. I am particularly keen to speak to a member of the public who was with his children at the time and assisted with putting out the fire. It is believed he was wearing a green/black jacket.

“If you think you have any information that could help our investigation, please get in touch.

“You can call the non-emergency number 101 or make a report online using the reference 43200321617.
