Smishing Fraud

Smishing is the fraudulent practise of attempting to acquire personal
information such as passwords and credit card details by masquerading
as a trustworthy entity via a SMS message. It will often include a hyperlink that if clicked on will infect your phone with a virus.

Stay safe online don’t be a victim of smishing scams!

To report Smishing call the Action Fraud reporting centre on:  0300 123 2040
