Thames Valley Alerts and Nextdoor

We have for some time been encouraging all Safer Neighbourhood Forum members to consider joining Thames Valley Alerts, so you can receive information about any local crime issues that could affect you by registering at www.thamesvalleyalert.co.uk .

We are also now posting updates on the Nextdoor, which is a social media platform that can be limited to your neighbourhood area. Our last post has been read by 217 people in Southcote, which includes residents in the ward who live in the 5 areas of West Southcote, Meadway, Southcote Coronation Square, Southcote Park and Southcote Prospect Park. You can find out more about how to join at https://www.nextdoor.co.uk/  One of the great things is we can message specific areas for specific issues.
