Alert message sent 03/02/2022 12:02:00

Information sent on behalf of Neighbourhood Watch

This is a message from Wycombe District Neighbourhood Watch Association

We advised you nearly two years ago with a reminder last year about the new body called the Suspicious Email Reporting Service (SERS) that had just started operations in 2020.  We recommend that you forward any suspicious emails to them at:

By 31st December 2021, we understand that they had received a total of more than 9 million emails forwarded to them as being suspicious.  This has resulted in a total of more than 70,000 scams being removed.  In addition, they have closed down more than 130,000 web addresses.  We are sure that more will follow!

So, do feel encouraged to forward any suspicious emails to them for attention.  You will receive an automated email of acknowledgement by return.

Please note that, if you have been the victim of fraud, this should be reported to Action Fraud at:
Thank you.
