Crime Prevention Training Events - Cyber Security and Fraud

We invite you to join two interactive training sessions which offer advice on how to recognise  scams and also how to protect your devices from cyber attacks including fraud.

Avoid becoming a victim of fraud.

These sessions are open to the public as well as Neighbourhood Watch members, please circulate to your friends and contacts.

Fraud Prevention

Learn how to recognise scams and prevent them from happening.
Malcolm Phillips from Trading Standards has expert knowledge on the subject. The talk covers the methods scammers use and ways to protect ourselves and vulnerable people.

Monday 7th March 2022 – 7pm to 8pm
This meeting will be held online using Zoom

Cyber Security

Learn how to protect your smartphone, laptop and other devices from cyber fraud.
The presenter is Mark Godsland, Cyber Security advisor with Thames Valley Police.
Mark has many years of experience and regularly advises both business and the public.
The talk includes the 6 steps that we should all take to improve our online security.

Next Cyber Security Session:

Wednesday 9th March 2022 – 7pm to 8pm
This meeting will be held online using Zoom
